In today's episode we introduce you an upcoming artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania : GC2Fierce !
We interviewed him few days ago :
"I started making music around the beginning of 2019 and just did music as a hobby. I started making music in Pennsylvania in the Philadelphia area. I would go to the studio in south Philly called lil drummma boy recordings and would write songs and make it through the studio and would pay like for an hour or 2.
I went through some struggles so I did not take it serious until 2021 where I started to gain recognition. I dropped a Ep album called down below and made and promoted a song called lowest point specifying me being on my lowest point in life and wanting to exceed and do better. It gained the eyes and likes of worldstar- hip hop, Say cheese TV and Mymixtapez all and was shared by a lot of people and gained a buzz, but that was not enough to blow me all the way up.
It gained me a little buzz and got me closer to the door of the rap game and being one of the hottest and best independent rap artist in the game. I started making music because, it was a way of me healing and sharing my emotions and opening up and coping with life and situations and I like the genuine support and energy that fans all over the world gave me.
A lot People that did not meet me in real life and never saw me told ne they could relate to my song and loved it and shared it and it gained me alot of motivation to push through life and grow as an artist and human being on this planet. My mom gave me the nick name GC standing for (god knows or gods child) so I took that and added 2Fierce to it because that’s just how I was since a kid… not aggressive just fierce.
Like very dominant and overdoing. I did alot of stuff in a fierce way so it was the perfect name to give me. I am from Lowell Massachusetts originally and grew up there but transitioned and moved to Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 2017 snap started doing music in 2019. I dropped my 2nd music video to one of the songs on my ep down below called run it and it gained some attention as well and released a new 16 songs album in 2023 called “The comeup and the comeback” and I’m currently working alot of new music videos for that project and working on new music!
Got alot of music to drop in 2023-2024 and ready to get something going! I’m currently working on new project and music videos to get in the Apple Music charts and catch Spotify attention and make some noise and become one of the hottest independent artist alive and out here doing my thing m. "
