Sam Karody : The Fresh Take on Underground Music

In today's episode we introduce you an upcoming artist from  Brookfield, Wisconsin : Sam Karody !

We interviewed him few days ago :

"My hometown is in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and the beginning of my journey into making music started in my bedroom as a troubled and misunderstood middle school student back in 2017. I noticed that making music was the only way I could escape from the world and get lost into my little dreamland and feel absolutely amazing about myself.

I didn't think of music as a career until I turned 17 years old, where at that point, I was hopelessly in love with the craft. I would practice my voice every single day and I would keep writing songs consistently until I got really, really good at the skill.

My parents started to notice that I was getting good and my father offered to further enhance my vocal abilities by teaching my Indian classical music. And now, I can even incorporate those Indian classical influences into my English music making. I love creating songs that touch on different themes and moods overall.

There's never just one subject to talk about in my songs. Whenever you listen to a new record of mine, expect that it's going to be thematically different than the last. Happiness, sadness, wealth, and motivation are all some themes that I love to write and sing about!"
